Good to be back after a long hiatus! Last summer, we toured the many wineries around Lake Chelan. There more than a dozen wineries in that new AVA alone, and it’s only been official since 2009!
So, what else is new? Oh, we updated our blog template and hope you like it! Also, we’ve formally scrapped our wine rating. We’ll still let you know about the tasting notes, price and availability (the important stuff), but we’ll skip the nuances on rating and give you the confidence that we won’t be publishing any reviews for wines that we don’t think have a good value for the price.
Now to the business at hand for this Washington red blend…
Smells like: something earthy, hints of raspberry
Tastes like: Plums, boysenberry
Price: $20?
Availability: At the winery, but possibly unavailable
Also, here’s the story behind the name. Sorry for the annoying buzz in these videos! There was a fan nearby.
