Episode 32 – 2006 Foundry Vineyards Red Wine

IMG_7983We were gifted the 2006 Foundary Vineyards Red Wine from Amanda’s employers who spoke highly of it and thought it was worth a review. It certainly was! I don’t know if I would have picked it up off of the shelf considering its uber-modern, minimalistic label so I’m glad it came to us by recommendation. This Walla Walla wine rocks.

We ran it through our Vinturi aerator (our new standard for wine drinking) and really enjoyed the medium body and robust cherry flavors. If only we knew the blend!

Smells like: Pepper, earthy soil

Tastes like: Cherries at the front, rose at the back

Review: 4.25 corks

Price: $18

Availability: Metropolitan Market
